Factors to consider when conducting human resource classes
When conducting PHR or SPHR certification human resource classes, you have to make sure that your class will be as effective as it can be. You have to make sure that you take into consideration all the factors that would affect the productivity of your class.
The participants themselves are factors in your class. You have to make sure that they are qualified and they can use the things that they will learn in their current responsibilities. Current candidates of PHR Professional in Human Resources cannot take the SPHR Senior Professional in Human Resources at the same time. The exam alone consists of intensive topics as well as it covers a wide range of HR knowledge that some HR practitioners would not be able to comprehend. Human resource classes should also be held at a facility that is appropriate for learning. The room should be comfortable and have a convenient location. The instructor should also be effective at getting people to participate in the discussions. Instructors need to know the subject well and communicate the lessons effectively with the students. Of course, the instructor needs a good audio-visual aid to assist him while training his class. The material should be relevant and engaging to the students so they remained interested, participating, and not easily bored. The actual certification needs to engage the participants in order for them to be physically and mentally present all throughout the course.
At the end of the course, there should be a survey that would be answered by the participants. This is the best way to discover what might need to be done to improve the course. It is recommended that respondents to the survey remain anonymous so as to encourage the participants to indicate what they really think of the class. The data should be submitted to top management in order to see what they need to continue or discontinue in the human resource classes.
