Dire Need for PHR Certifications
Human resource practitioners that have PHR certification need to know that they have an important role in the company as modern streamliners. Many companies today have gone to what we call sheep dipping. Sheep dipping is when a company sends employee after employee through a training regimen even if the actual regimen has nothing to do with the employees’ daily activities. While this guarantees that a company will have a certain percentage of trained workers, there is no guarantee that once through their training, the employees will be able to do their jobs.
The four main weaknesses of common training modules are lack of management support, a feeble link to organization objectives, inconsistent content, and a lack of focus. This is thoroughly discussed in PHR certifications. Sometimes, a training module will not be as effective as it should be because even the managers do not believe that this will help their department, even if they think the module is relevant to their daily operations. Some do not even consider the module to be relevant to the organization’s objectives.
Rapid internal and external changes make traditional training ineffective. The module takes a lot of time to create and takes a longer time to take effect. Organizations need to change to a faster and more adaptive structure so the employees can be up to date with the current situation of the business. One thing that is counterproductive in traditional training is that it requires removing employees from the workplace in order to train them.
Planned training will give companies the edge they need to provide their employees with the appropriate training regimen relevant and more effective to their daily operation. Employees should also be a part of updating the current training module of a company. They have all the up-to-date experience needed to make the module more efficient and produce more productive results. It is important that HR practioners with PHR certifications be aware of that.
